Dear Mom & Dad,

I wanted to start off this letter by saying thank you for everything. I know I don't say it enough, but I truly mean it.

At this point in my life, I'm technically considered an adult. Yes, I know I don't act like it at times, but that's a part of life. I make mistakes, I learn from them, and I continue to grow. And as time goes on, I have realized how much you have done for me.

Ever since I was little, you have always been my number one support system. If it wasn't for you both and your unlimited encouragement, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I am truly lucky to have both of you as my parents. Parents who would selflessly do anything for their kids.

Mom, thank you for being my best friend. You made me want to tell you anything and everything. It was easy to talk to you and ask for advice.

Dad, thank you for your (somewhat) strict rules that prevented me from making decisions that could've led me down the wrong path.

Mom, thank you for showing me what a truly strong woman looks like and inspiring me to become half the woman you are.

Dad, thank you for teaching me so many valuable lessons that I will cherish forever. Although I'm still learning how to apply them to my life, I know they will help me out in the long run.

Mom, thank you for showing me how to fight for what I believe in and stand up for myself, in life, love, and everything in between.

Dad, thank you for understanding when I decided to take a leap of faith. It may not seem logical at times and you may talk me out of it, but I truly appreciate it.

To both of you, thank you for sharing your journey with me. Without you, I would not cherish and believe in the things that I do. There aren't enough words to express my appreciation, but for starters, I owe you one.
