BLOGTOBER DAY 2: HALLOWEEN DIY

Sunday, October 4, 2015

Holidays are the best time of the year because you can decorate your house however you want and, personally, I think Halloween is the most fun! So why not kick off a fun and spooky holiday season with some easy DIY decorations!

PUMPKIN-LESS JACK-O-LANTERNS
You will need:
Mason Jars
Folk Art Enamel Glass Paint
Black Sharpie
Flameless Tea Light Candles

Step One- Paint the entire mason jar your desired color and the lid black.
Step Two- Trace the face design onto the jar once the paint has dried. (It's completely okay to mess up!)
Step Three- Fill in the face outline with black enamel paint. Place the flameless tea light candle in the mason jar and YOU'RE DONE!

SPARKLY SPIDERS

You will need:
Medium sized styrofoam balls
Folk Art Enamel Paint
Black glitter
Black pipe cleaners

Step One- With a knife, puncture four holes on each side of the styrofoam ball so the pipe cleaners can be inserted easily.
Step Two- Paint the ball black and then immediately roll the ball in black glitter.
Step Three- Stick four pipe cleaners into the previously made holes on the ball to make the legs and your spider is ready!
I really hope you enjoyed these two extremely easy DIY Halloween decorations. They're super simple and fun to make so give them a try! Also, let me know what your favorite decorations are!
