BLOGTOBER DAY 11: CARVING PUMPKINS

Tuesday, October 27, 2015

Pumpkin carving is the one Halloween tradition that almost everyone participates in. It's like a right of passage for the best October possible. Personally, I love carving pumpkins!

It can be extremely frustrating at times when you mess up and it's a lot of hard work, but once you're finished, it's the best feeling ever!

I usually do simple jack-o-lantern faces when carving a pumpkin, but this year I decide to be a little risky. I wanted to carve a mummy! It seemed easy enough, but boy was I wrong! Let's just say I cut each section too close together and the eye part completely fell off so I had to awkwardly place it on the pumpkin for the pictures! In other words, the finished product looked nothing like the outline I drew before carving!

Even though it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, it was still fun to make! My October wouldn't be complete if I didn't carve a pumpkin! What did you carve this year?
